Daccs B.V. is a private company with limited liability incorporated under the laws of the Netherlands, having its registered office and principal place of business at Eerste Jan Steenstraat 84a, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 83537848 (“Daccs”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy statement explains what personal data we process when you visit our website, contact us, request a demonstration of our products or services, or otherwise interact with us in a business context. It also explains why and how we process your personal data and the rights available to you.
For the processing activities described in this privacy statement, Daccs generally acts as the data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).
This privacy statement does not apply to personal data that Daccs processes solely on behalf of its customers when providing its products and services. In those circumstances, Daccs generally acts as a data processor and the relevant customer is responsible for providing information about the processing of your personal data.
We may amend this privacy statement from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our Website, services or applicable laws. Where appropriate, we will communicate material changes to you. The latest version will always be available on our Website.

This privacy statement answers the following questions:
1. Does this privacy statement apply to me?
This privacy statement applies where Daccs processes your personal data in connection with our website at www.daccs.io (the “Website”), our business activities or your interactions with us.
This includes:
- persons who visit or otherwise use our Website, including where we process information about their use of the Website for security, functionality, analytics and improving the performance and user experience of the Website;
- persons who contact us through the Website or otherwise communicate with us, including by submitting a contact form, sending us an email or making another enquiry;
- persons who request or schedule a demonstration of our products or services, including through a demo request or scheduling functionality on the Website;
- representatives, employees and other contact persons of existing or prospective customers, partners, suppliers and other organisations with whom we have or may establish a business relationship; and
- other persons whose personal data we process in connection with operating our Website, responding to enquiries, providing demonstrations, developing and improving our products and services, or establishing and maintaining business relationships.
2. What personal data do we process?
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process the following categories of personal data:
- Identification and contact details, such as your first name, last name, email address, telephone number, job title and the organisation you work for;
- Information you provide when contacting us, including information submitted through our contact form, demo request form or otherwise provided as part of an enquiry or communication with us;
- Demo and appointment information, such as your preferred date and time, meeting details and other information provided when requesting or scheduling a demonstration of our products or services;
- Business and professional information, such as your organisation, role, business interests and other information relevant to a potential or existing business relationship with Daccs;
- Technical and device information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system and other technical information relating to the device used to access the Website;
- Website usage and analytics data, such as pages visited, interactions with the Website, referral information, session information and information about how the Website is used; and
- Cookie and similar technology data, where applicable and as further described in section 10 of this privacy statement.
We generally obtain personal data directly from you or automatically when you use our Website. In some circumstances, we may also receive business contact information from the organisation you represent, our business partners or publicly available professional sources.
We ask that you do not provide sensitive or special categories of personal data through our contact forms or demo request forms unless this is specifically requested by us.
3. For what purposes do we process my personal data?
We may process your personal data for the following purposes:
- to operate, maintain, secure and provide our Website and its functionality;
- to understand how visitors use and interact with our Website and to monitor and improve its performance, functionality, content and user experience;
- to respond to questions, requests and other enquiries submitted through our Website, by email or through other communication channels;
- to process requests for demonstrations of our products and services and to schedule, prepare for and conduct such demonstrations;

4. On what legal basis do we process my personal data?
As Daccs is established in the Netherlands, our processing of personal data is primarily governed by the GDPR and applicable Dutch data protection legislation.
Depending on the processing activity, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Consent – where you have given us your consent to process your personal data for a specific purpose. This may apply, for example, to certain cookies or similar technologies. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before your consent was withdrawn.
- Performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract – where processing is necessary to perform a contract with you or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- Legitimate interests – where processing is necessary for our legitimate interests or those of a third party, provided that those interests are not overridden by your interests, rights or freedoms. Our legitimate interests may include operating and securing our Website and business; responding to enquiries; organising and following up on demonstrations; communicating with existing and prospective business contacts; developing and maintaining business relationships; improving our Website, products and services; and protecting Daccs and its systems against fraud, misuse and security threats.
- Compliance with a legal obligation – where processing is necessary for us to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation to which we are subject.
Where you are located outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”), additional local privacy or data protection laws may apply. Where applicable, we will process your personal data in accordance with the requirements of those laws and rely on an appropriate legal basis or other lawful ground for the relevant processing.
5. How long do we retain my personal data?
We retain your personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying legal, regulatory, accounting, reporting or security requirements and, where applicable, for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
The applicable retention period depends on the nature of the personal data and the purpose for which it is processed.
For example:
- information relating to enquiries and demo requests may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and follow up on your request and, where relevant, to establish or maintain a business relationship;
- information relating to existing customers, suppliers, partners and other business relationships may be retained for the duration of the relationship and for an appropriate period thereafter;
- technical, security and Website usage information is generally retained for shorter periods unless a longer period is required for security, fraud prevention, legal or regulatory purposes; and
- information that we are required to retain under applicable law will be retained for the applicable statutory retention period.
Where personal data is no longer required, we will delete or anonymise it, unless continued retention is permitted or required by applicable law.
6. How do we protect my personal data?
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access and other forms of unlawful processing.

Right of access
You have the right to request confirmation as to whether we process your personal data and, where applicable, to obtain access to your personal data and certain information about how it is processed.
Right to rectification
You have the right to request that inaccurate personal data concerning you be corrected and that incomplete personal data be completed.
Right to erasure
In certain circumstances, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data, for example where the personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or where you withdraw consent and there is no other legal basis for the processing.
Right to restriction of processing
In certain circumstances, you have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.
Right to object
Where we process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests, you have the right to object to that processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will cease the relevant processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms or where the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Where your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object to such processing at any time.
Right to data portability
Where the processing is based on your consent or on a contract and is carried out by automated means, you may have the right to receive personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and, where technically feasible, to have that data transmitted to another controller.
Right to withdraw consent
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. As Daccs is established in the Netherlands, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Depending on where you live or work, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with another competent supervisory authority.

Additional rights may apply under the privacy or data protection laws of the country in which you are located.
9. Do we transfer my personal data outside the EEA?
Daccs is established in the Netherlands. However, some of the service providers we use may be established outside the EEA or may process personal data in countries outside the EEA.
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we will ensure that an appropriate transfer mechanism or safeguard is used where required by applicable data protection law.
Depending on the recipient and destination, this may include:
- a decision by the European Commission recognising that the relevant country provides an adequate level of protection;
- the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses;

- another transfer mechanism or derogation permitted under applicable data protection law.
Where personal data is transferred to an organisation in the United States that participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, we may rely on the applicable European Commission adequacy decision.
